I have a big announcement to make!

A new hl2dm server called ZG MATCH is in the works!

This is a discussion that Harly and I had and he has helped with the funding side of this, so thank you Harly for helping and making ZG even more awesome!

ZG MATCH will take a couple of weeks to be completed. But I am already hard at work, Jerome and I will work on the web side of things where players will be able to download the match demos.
Sidezz might be helping for some server side tweaks.

The new server will be as close as "stock" as possible, so speed 600 for example and competitive maps only.
The new server will be stripped back but it will not lose its awesomeness. For example: no more music, no more models, but all the voting will remain, and maybe also map vote, but no free RPG for example

I've seen it on other servers. I think it's really awesome. This is a cool feature for which not many can shine. thumbs up

I also think it's very good that the server is close to ZG1. and the map selection idea too.

I also think that the match server does not need music ect. For this, ZG1 have servers. But I also think about the votes that they should stay.

So as you know.... we have 4 lists visible while choosing maps in game. I have organically come up with 3 while sorting them...
I am not sure which will replace ALL MAPS, i dont think there should be a all maps list in the Match server. Perhaps the right column can be nut normal competitive ?
Then we still have one column to fill on the left.....

Anyway, this is the list i have come up with , please comment, suggest etc. Thanks.

should I understand that the server will run for a certain period of time?
I think it was better to give up CB and JET. If there is to be a match server, it should be as classic as possible, the voice can be but that's just my opinion THANKS FOR GREAT WORK.

Hi everyone,

ZG Match is now running but very bare. It is not public yet. From today onward I will be spending most of my free time working on it.
As I improve the core code or the server, some of those improvements will also be reflected in the main server.

Due to all this I cannot be populating the server during the day and the evenings, so I count on you to take the relay for this
