I have received feedback from someone whom I will not name here, that many VG players have come around ZG and still do come around to ZG for the sole purpose of trolling the players.
As well as call them back at their VG servers to get more players there.

This was someone completely random who kindly told me this. They also added that they thought it was a horrible thing to do. To which I agreed.
He also added that many of these players ended cheating anyway in the end ...
I knew about the bad behavior of VG players and the European "pro" hl2dm community, but I didn't realize it went to that extent. Just when you think you've seen the worst, you never quite have...

Following this statement, we will be screwing the screw much , much tighter from now on.
No more kindness or chances to toxic players. Toxic = ban. If they want unban or play with permanent mute, that can be discussed later on in the forum.

I hope you do realise VG servers are made for matches and never used as public servers like yours. There is no such machination against your specific person to steal "your" players, because they are not the target anyway. People playing on public servers are most likely not interested in playing a match with what you call "pro players" - aka the term only used by people not playing on matches -. :wave VG admins surely do not care about your servers.

There is no such thing as an "European pro hl2dm community". There is a community of players who like to play in a competitive way. And a lot come from Russia - not only Europe. This does not make them pro in anyway. Better than you ? Yes maybe, but it's easier to criticize while being too lazy to get better.

Also, there are cheaters everywhere, it's not just half life and it's not specific to a community, your allegations are biased for some reasons. Besides these "cheaters" might just be multiple account of very few persons. But , let's take an intellectually lazy shortcut in logic and say every VG players are either cheaters, trolls, pro or arrogant

You are a veeeeryyyyyy salty person, and kinda dishonest when it suits you. You purposely ignore things you condamn elsewhere. No surprises it turns into a drama with a lot of players ;-)

I remember him, used to come in ZG, and when not first , say very nasty things in the chat then rage quit. Heck he even apologized to me for it once.

I am leaving this response there, because it really shows us a quite typical example of the kind of person I am talking about in the original post. The kind we do not welcome at ZG

nobody here generalizes nobody uses mental shortcuts
we have encountered this behavior many times ...
from advertising the Vg server to calling them real servers ... repeatedly insulting the people playing here ... people who encouraged them to play VG or called them real hl2dm ... they were never nice ...
you generalize saying that players only playing match not playing on public servers for training or fun ...

remember your words is "just a dying game"
we like our "existential game" -as you called it ... in nice and friendly company of people who respect each other

This is not esports and it is unlikely to be. People playing here for fun, games were created for this. Adults from different countries, playing to relax and communicate in a good atmosphere.

Was doing a little of work today and checking everything, while looking at a VAC banned that seeped through, I saw Grace Divine other profile logged in - and still trying to crash the server by spamming the chat.
In total he spammed the chat 1244 times
Some people really do lack occupation

yes i do take 5min of my time sometimes to come spam fly noises or stupid soundeffects
occupation is kind of relative, doing this can be occupation, however as it takes around 5 min max each times, i would not call that occupation, rather recreation
it is because i am so angry about the red card you know, i feel really bad and sick everytime like this is the worst thing that has ever happened in my life [please include desperate crying emoji in there], i am banned from the best programmed server !!

it’s not about the best programmed server, but that something makes you come back, even just to play pranks. You are all the best players, professionals, masters of the major leagues, you have to have a living space where you can show your muscles to each other, right? What will attract you to ZG? No need to say that it's just fun, two minutes of pressing buttons in the chat and being removed from the game session, well, so-so fun, to be honest. Your energy would be directed to creation, with destruction you have not yet succeeded.
