This guy is a guy called [VDuS] BioHazard. I played against him and [VDuS] back in 2005-2008 era when they were all just teenagers. He's in his 30's now. He's very typical of the older "American style" pro type players from that era (can be loud, brash and a bit arrogant etc) but he's actually not the worst. He's not as bad or as toxic as the modern day "pros". He's actually a legitimate former pro player from back in the day. He's VERY good - and he knows it kind of thing. He actually tends to stay quiet for the most part and just plays, usually only at night on Killbox servers. He seems like an ok guy under the hood, but he tends to play while he's drinking beer / drunk and that tends to bring out his older / teenage style of talking while playing HL2DM. He tends to be very sarcastic a lot. I don't think he actually means half of the stuff he says. I get the impression that he is permanently stuck in the HL2DM world of 2006/2007 with maps like Lockdown, Biohazard, Kilbox and Aim Arena. He's a 31 year old teenager essentially. If you tell him to clam down or be nice, he more than likely will. Get him talking about "the old HL2DM days" and he turns into a completely different person. He was laughing and joking on the mic with Clint and myself last night. He was pretty nice to Clint and he was giving him tips on how to play certain maps. I have demos of him from last night. He's like a Canadian version of NewYorkRiverDragon.

None of the old "pro level" US clans from back in the day were very friendly. Except a clan called [HAX]... those guys were friendly. [VDuS] were borderline. Some of their members were not very nice, but players like A Seagull, Scar and Corrosive were ok. What gets me about all of these old and modern toxic pro players is that most, if not all of them, are not teenagers anymore... they're all in their 30's now and yet most of them still act the very same way that they did 15-16 years ago. I dunno why they all take things so seriously and cant just mess around or have fun. The amount of crap that we had to put up with back in the early days on Nemesis 2Fort with certain toxic players, wall hackers, aim botters, speed hackers, griefers etc... was unreal. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY AND NIGHT. HL2DM at it's peak between 2005-2008 was an eye opening experience into every aspect of the human condition.... good, bad, weird... and everything in between lol. You kinda become immune to assholes after a while. As Danny Glover once said in the Lethal Weapon movie, "I'm too old for this shit".
