EXTEND IS REALLY FIXED !
It will add 15 minutes to the current time left, no matter what it is.

It will also tell you how much time is now left when the EXTEND vote is successful !

Apologies if this is the wrong thread, I can't see a thread for general suggestions?

Anyway, I have said so before, but I would really like to see a way to adjust our in game FOV added to both servers.

It's marked as a cheat in hl2dm by valve because if allowed to be set at any value people can use very low FOV to zoom with any gun, so range should be limited (though you can suit zoom with any gun in hl2dm anyway  )

Most modern FPS games, far more competition focussed than hl2dm, allow you to set FOV between 75-130, Quake live, Modern Warfare, CSS:Go all do, so it's obviously no cheat.

Default in hl2dm is 85 I think which is very low imo. I Iike to play at 105 in other games. It makes everything slightly smaller and further away looking, but adds a bit more "peripheral vision" to the edges of screen (like fish eye), it's far more comfortable to play at higher FOV (90+) when sitting close to a monitor (especially so now I have a 27" monitor).
75-85 is FOV used in most console games where you sit far back from the TV.

STREAK: 0 becomes STREAK: 1 etc.
These are your consecutive kills at any given time. It helps you see how close you are to a Post@l !

POINTS: 0 become POINTS: 100 ▲ or POINTS: -100 ▼
Note that suicides will not show there but WILL be added to your overall POINTS at the end of each map!

MAY 2021: STREAK was removed in favor of FOV

New commands for all users

WHOIS

Type WHOIS in chat and get a popup with all players ingame. Click on one and it opens up their steam profile directly in the game.
This is great to add them to friends for instance :)

ZG now has an anti chat spam.

In a way it is unfortunate that we had to adopt this as we had been fine without it for years before. However a new trick had been found whereas some players would make a script to play multiple sounds together making the sound much louder than intended.
I never wanted to start putting up silly chat restrictions on ZG the feeling of freedom and fun must reamain!

What I did is this:
Each player now gets a sound spam account. When a player plays a saysound, their account starts to fill up. If the account reaches 5 sounds, the player explodes. BUT that account is automatically emptied after 0.2 seconds, so it impossible to fill the account up by hand.
The explosion only can happen if 2 sounds or more are spammed at the same time.

It is a bit of a tricky bit of code and quite extensive and taxing for its purpose but what can we do :k

Anyway this is how it would look like :
