If you are experiencing hitreg problems, be aware that most of the time it is a client issue with lerp and not a server issue.

If the above is not resolving your issue, what you could do is try these settings:

cl_interp "0.01"
cl_interp_ratio "1"
cl_interp_all "0"
cl_lagcompensation "1"
cl_smooth "0"
cl_smoothtime "0.1"

you should get around 10 to 15 ms lerp

Go to the help section to get info on the server rates.

I also propose to change the directX versions on older hardware it helped me a lot ... it can be set as "set launch options" in steam or console.


mat_dxlevel [DirectX version]
mat_dxlevel 70
mat_dxlevel 80
mat_dxlevel 81
...
mat_dxlevel 90 - DX9 with Shader Model 2
mat_dxlevel 95 - DX9 with Shader Model 3

Yes, tried this before, really fast, but some fx like fog etc is like opaque wall.
They would be useful on OpenGL systems like Linux, MacOS, because thay have trouble with some shader (eyes model). But unfortunately these setting is useless.
Hitreg settings is amazing for me, i shooting like cheater today :)
