Re: Badly voted maps out of cycle
Thank god for that!
In my opinion its still to many maps in the loop. Another one I would love to see gone is Dm4_thebadplace, in my opinion that map is really a bad place. Horrible.

Re: Badly voted maps out of cycle
Hey Bub, as abra one day said, there are maps that dont are badly voted bc people rtv. I dont think people should play on those maps just to vote. You could add a system when everytime a map is rtv on the first 2 mins, the map will have a "quick rtv", if a map have a lot of "quick rtv", you should consider it as badly voted too.
Think about it and reply pls!

As far as I remember, this was already discussed and Bub added this featureBoria Blyat wrote:Hey Bub, as abra one day said, there are maps that dont are badly voted bc people rtv. Re: Badly voted maps out of cycle
So the map info was really always there. Just not visible in chat. If you go on the website menu CONTENT ----> MAPS, you will see that each time you click on a map the amount of RTV where vote won is displayed there.
Also, you can have a different overview of things if you go to the older page : CONTENT -----> MAP STATS
When I do my calculation, I take into account both the votes and the RTV, but I also take into account the fact that many people just type G for getting weapons. This in my opinion is about 40% of them. Which is why a very bad map voted many times will never have a score below 50%, which means that a score of about 60% to 70% is already quite bad.
Hope this answers your questions!
Speaking of MAPS - I am looking for an admin level 8 or 9 to take map work entirely into their hands.
This includes:
-sourcing new maps
-liaising with creators and testing
-creating map previews (3 per map)
-placing or removing maps in/out of cycles (like in this topic)
-blacklisting and commenting on them
-assigning a type (killbox/rat...)
Whilst this task seems nice, and it is at times, it is mostly tiresome, extensive, and delicate! (for instance one must never remove a map from the list) that is like a database for us - it is important to have bad maps in our database so the next person does not upload it again. We have something to check against. So a map is NEVER "deleted"
