If there is a friendly player whom I recognize on ZG, (played more than once) I usually friend them and greet them, then I send the link to our group and our chat group

It is also good to publish your screenshots.... and send links to them to friends, so people can like and comment them, they then get to the top of the stack with out logo on it.
It is also ok to talk about us on a forum or so or in comments.

What I do NOT recommend doing is what has happened to me today :
Just adding people we are not familiar with to send them links to our server ( this is regarded as spam )
This unknown player friended me, I checked and he played for Less than an hour on ZG so of course I don't remember him.
