The purpose of the mod is to shift some the gameplay action from the lower part of the map (see pic) to the upper part of the map, thereby making use of the entire map instead of mainly the bottom half. This is done by redistributing items and removing the one-way teleporter, which takes players from the upper part to the lower part.
What has been changed:
- Teleporter removed (The camera and screen have also been removed. Players are now faced with a plain wall.)
- 1 health vial removed (Inaccessable. No effect on gameplay.)
- 4 batteries removed - 3 remain (Instead of having suit on every corner, players now have to move around the map to get it. They will be more likely to die to crossbow, but that's only fair considering how many anti-crossbow fences this map has.)
- Health charger and suit charger removed (Standing still and staring at a wall while charging is not fun gameplay for anyone. I don't think these things belong on any map.)
- 1 health kit removed (...to make it easier to grab the battery next to it) - 1 health kit added (...to compensate for the loss of the health charger.)
- 2 magnums removed -1 remains (Very slight change. The goal is to punish campers camping, especially in the bottom-left corner of the map. There are still 3 pieces of magnum ammo available, so if players move around normally, they should never run out of ammo.)
- 1 ar2 added (Replaces one of the magnums.)
- 2 orbs removed - 1 added (The top-left tunnel was a 'high-risk, low-reward' area that players had practically no reason to visit. Now it's their only chance of getting their hands on an orb.)
- 3 SMG grenades added - 4 in total (Compensation for the net loss of 1 orb and to reward movement around the map.)
- 2 spawns removed - 8 added (Should reduce the chance of getting spawn killed. Had to remove 2 crates in order to make room for one of the new spawn points.)
- Fixed lighting in the top-right corner (Fixed by Zen.)
