Probably, sometimes you dont know if it is red or blue.[ZG] BubblesDevere wrote:Harder to distinguish than rebel and combine difference ?

Interesting!
It me because they are dark and with the speed, it was always easier to distinguish colours instead of dark models

Re: are the model colours hard to distinguish ?
The current models are fine. Rebels / combines models may have some advantages depends of map environments. I can make little illumination on some parts of models, or on whole model, not real light, not like flashlight, but good visible in dark places. It's cheap, not affect to the overall performance. This will make the models more recognizable, i think it will be fairly for both teams.
As far i know similar solution was realized in 2000's on some "pro" mods for hl, quake, ut etc.

Re: are the model colours hard to distinguish ?
Sorry Salo, this was a bit of a rhetorical question to be frank.
In fact, (and I am not sure why i did not include it here on the forum) the models of the zg match server were reworked with the badges on their back, and further down the line, a glow mask was added on the red model in order to make it visible in the dark areas. We tested it in a dark map Abra and myself and tweaked it finely quite a few times in order to get it Just right, so that it would not appear that it is glowing but yet the colour would still be visible in dark areas.
